Job DescriptionResponsible for inputting hourly/salary payroll changes on a bi-weekly basis through UKG systems for approximately 1500 employees including multi state employees. Processing payroll bi-weekly and reviewing for accuracy before final submission. Manages time & attendance including time clock issues and maintain record of employee sick, vacation, and personal time. Ensure withholding and computing associated with net pay are done properly. Ensures payroll records are updated and reports on any matters of interest. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Must be detail-oriented, extremely accurate and must exhibit a Christian attitude.
Minimum Education Required
High school diploma required.
Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s Degree
Experience in UKG (formerly UltiPro)
Experience in higher education processes and procedures
Two to four year’s current experience is accounting/payroll procedures and use of general office machines.

Experience And Training
Two to four year’s current experience in accounting/payroll procedures and use of general office machines preferred.
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Word & Excel required.
UKG (formerly UltiPro) and Gmail experience preferred.
TRAINING TIME
On-the-job training.
Three months to perform job related duties with minimum supervision.
Duties And Other Job Related Activities
Back up Payroll Supervisor.
Process payroll changes, additions or revisions and email new hires UltiPro Registration Instructions.
Input and setup employee to use time & attendance machine/computer/app.
Direct Deposit follow-up Notices from bank or other alerts.
Direct Deposit follow-up for those receiving hard checks.
Run reports/email for donation deductions to Southeastern University.
Record all historical PTO requests.
Enter Stipend, Contract, Adjunct pay calculations and entries.
Maintain spreadsheet for employees with housing allowance for Social Security maximum.
Enter card transactions and Misc gifts as manual adjustment for W2 taxable adjustments.
Enter GA Year End amounts received from Business Office for W2 taxable adjustments.
Maintain employees with multiple jobs in UKG and add update spreadsheet.
Receive and calculate weekly manual timecards, if any.
Provide employee customer service support to resolve payroll issues.
Assist supervisors and employees on automated timekeeping system.
Research discrepancies of payroll information and/or documentation.
Works closely with other departments to make sure payroll data is correctly input.
Assist in any software conversions to ensure accurate data is converted.
Manage and ensure payroll scanning is entered into Document Imaging.
Create JE when needed and send to Business Office for processing.
Assist in other duties as assigned.
